UNCHARTED WATERS ENTRY FORM

Have you recently completed a design project featuring Cifial product(s) that challenged you to discover new design options you didn’t know existed?
Cifial USA announces the First Annual Uncharted Waters Design Competition. This competition has been created to recognize interior design professionals who are elevating design to new heights by exploring new design territories and boundaries.
Eligibility: The award is open to all residential and commercial interior designers in the continental United States. Project must include Cifial product(s) and have been completed after January 1, 2007 and prior to July 31, 2009.
Judging Criteria: The award recognizes and rewards outstanding interior designers who specify Cifial product(s) and have pushed the boundaries of design in their projects.
Submissions will be judged for innovativeness of the design solution and the successful integration of Cifial product(s) within the project. Entries will be judged by the Cifial USA design team led by internationally renowned industrial designer, Carlos Aguiar.
A lead product designer for Cifial, Carlos Aguiar has been awarded several international design awards including DESIGN PLUS, GOOD DESIGN, and RED DOT. In addition to his work with Cifial, he has extensive credits as a product and equipment designer as well as a teacher at Aveiro University - where he serves as the head of the Industrial Design Course.
Winning Design: The winning design firm of the First Annual Uncharted Waters Design Competition will receive $20,000 (retail value) in Cifial product(s) for use on a future design project. Profile of project and designer will be prominently displayed on cifialusa.com and publicity efforts will be made to garner media coverage in trade and consumer publications. The winning designer will be notified by September 15, 2009.
Entry Form: To enter the Uncharted Waters Design Competition, simply fill out the entry form below and submit by August 31, 2009. Incomplete forms will not be accepted for judging consideration. There is no cost to enter.
